Maverick forward Dominic Zombo (#14, F, Jr, Ballwin, MO) positions himself for a shot in front of Tiger goalie Josh Thorimbert (#39, G, Sr, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan). This was the second game of a two game series featuring these two NCHA foes. On Friday, CC beat UNO for their second win of the season. UNO came in ranked #16 in the nation. On this night, CC got out to an early 2 goal lead, but at the end of regulation, the game was all square at three goals apiece. UNO ended up with the win after the Mavericks closed out the Tigers in a shootout.
